My Mom used to make this dish so often when we were growing up. It is easy, quick, and tasty.

Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup ground pork
  • 1 tbs light soy sauce
  • 1 tbs each of chopped garlic and chopped shallots
  • 1 tsp each sesame oil and chinese cooking wine (shao xing)
  • 1/8 tsp white pepper
  • 2 tsp oil

Directions:

  1. Scrambled eggs, set aside.
  2. Mix ground pork with the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Heat up wok, add oil, add ground pork, scrambled until it turns color.
  4. Add eggs, scrambled till done, serve.
  5. Optional: you can garnish with fried shallots or chopped green onions.

Note:

Wrap the pork mixture with wonton skins, ta da, you make yourself a nice tasty wonton.
