My Mom used to make this dish so often when we were growing up. It is easy, quick, and tasty.
Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup ground pork
- 1 tbs light soy sauce
- 1 tbs each of chopped garlic and chopped shallots
- 1 tsp each sesame oil and chinese cooking wine (shao xing)
- 1/8 tsp white pepper
- 2 tsp oil
Directions:
- Scrambled eggs, set aside.
- Mix ground pork with the rest of the ingredients.
- Heat up wok, add oil, add ground pork, scrambled until it turns color.
- Add eggs, scrambled till done, serve.
- Optional: you can garnish with fried shallots or chopped green onions.
Note:
Wrap the pork mixture with wonton skins, ta da, you make yourself a nice tasty wonton.
